How to Update ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL to latest VOLTE Update

Only For Those People Who Are Facing Mount Error In Recovery While Updating

Steps:

Warning:You will loose your data messages and contacts if you dont backup

• First of all backup all of your data present in internal storage
• Charge your phone for Minimum 50%-60%
• Allow USB debugging in developer options

You need to download Some files needed links are posted below

ADB Drivers:https://www.asus.com/sg/Phone/ZenFone-2-Laser-ZE550KL/HelpDesk_Download/

After Downloading and following these methods please follow this procedure

1. Switch off your phone and remove your memory card.
2. Insert battery and keep pressing power+volume up btton until fastboot mode boots up.
3. Connect your phone to pc using data cable and open adb and check if your phone is detected or not by entering the command fastboot devices

Then follow typing these commands if your phone is connected

fastboot erase system

fastboot erase userdata

fastboot erase cache

(Copy lollipop recovery and boot in adb folder)

then type commands

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img {recovery image name}

fastboot flash boot boot.img {boot image name}

{Remove the battery of the phone and disconnect the data cable }

Copy firmware file in the memory card and insert it in the phone

Now dont power on your phone like normal boot

press Power+Volume down to open recovery menu 

wipe cache in recovery menu and select option apply update from SDcard and select the firmware zip file earlier you copied in SDcard and wait for the process.

(Warning:Verifying update package and Patching system unconditionally may take some time so please be patient)

after the process is complete do wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache and dont reboot the system just select power down and then switch your phone on normally
